Summer Recipe Inspirations

Oh sweet summer, I love you! Everything about the summer seems to be so much brighter and just plain cheery.  All things summer seem to inspire my palate as well.  My list of summer inspirations could make for a new post every day but I just can't resist sharing a few at once.

1. Limes-everything from the mention of a "margarita" in a song to the my bright green purse make me crave all things lime.






 



These chips are so zesty! I love them plain, with salsa or even better with guacamole.

Here is a recipe I found for Chuncky Guacomole and Chili-Lime Tortilla Chips which would be great on the side of a quesadilla filled with black beans, onions, mushrooms, peppers and a squeeze of lime.

Thanks to the world of advertising, I can't help but want a cold corona with a lime on vacation.  I even like the song on this commercial .

Since I don't live on the beach, I will just settle for a lime drink, chips and beach music on the dock. There's nothing wrong with pretending! :)
